What Forcan 150 Tablet is used for

• Vaginal thrush (often a single dose)
• Oral and throat thrush
• Ringworm and tinea
• Fungal meningitis (specialist use)
• Prevention of fungal infection in low immunity

How it works

Fluconazole blocks the fungal enzyme needed to make the cell membrane, and penetrates well into body fluids including the vagina and spinal fluid.

Common side effects

• Nausea
• Headache
• Stomach pain
• Loose motions
• Rash

Most side effects are mild and settle as your body adjusts. Tell your doctor if any of them persist or trouble you.
