What Asthalin Syrup is used for

How it works

Salbutamol stimulates beta-2 receptors in the airway muscle, relaxing it within minutes and relieving wheeze and breathlessness.

Common side effects

• Tremor

• Muscle cramps
• Restlessness

Most side effects are mild and settle as your body adjusts. Tell your doctor if any of them persist or trouble you.

• Use a spacer with the metered dose inhaler — it doubles the amount reaching the lungs
